PR Specialist

This position generally involves:
• acting as spokesperson for KPMG in Slovakia,
• managing PR activities for the firm,
• development and implementation of the strategy for building a positive brand image and reputation of the company,
• generating themes that contribute to building the company’s positive reputation and creating content for media (e.g. articles, press releases, social media posts),
• building relations with journalists, managing answers to journalistic questions and managing press releases,
• support internal communications by bringing the company’s strategy to live and supporting the leadership in internal communications,
• analysis of media monitoring,
• regular evaluation of the results of activities.

As a new team member you should have:
• A Master’s or Engineering degree, ideally in the field of journalism, mass media communication, marketing,
• at least 5 years of relevant experience working with the media in the communication department or in the PR agency,
• English language – advanced (C1) and Slovak language – proficiency (C2) = high-level grammar and stylistics,
• MS office – advanced,
• Social media and digital marketing tools,
• Orientation in current trends in PR and in building a positive brand image,
• Experience of working with journalists and crisis communication,
• Experience with writing articles and press releases of a business and financial nature,
• Experience in organizing press conferences,
• Ability to work to deadlines.
