KPMG Central & Eastern Europe is a cross-regional entity encompassing 17 countries across 11 geographic locations, serving applications and systems to over 10,000 users worldwide. The internal development team, consisting of 30+ professionals, is responsible for building and maintaining internal information systems and mission-critical business tools for all KPMG member firms within the cluster. A platform-like solution is utilized, interconnected with other custom-built systems and reporting solutions, allowing end-users to enter all necessary data and providing state-of-the-art reporting capabilities for operational, administrative, and decision-making purposes. Key Responsibilities:

• Security-Centric Design: Follow the best principles in the area of security, considering industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using .NET/Angular technologies.
• Best Practices: Follow best practices and code quality standards.
• Code Review: Review code from other team members to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• System Integration: Integrate new software components with existing systems and third-party solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets quality and performance standards.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize software for efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, code documentation, and user manuals.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on the latest .NET/Front-end technologies and tools, evaluate their suitability for projects, and make recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Extensive experience (3+ years) as a .NET+FE(Angular, React, JS) Developer with a proven track record of delivering complex software solutions.
• Strong expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, .NET Core.
• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React, etc.).
• Database design and SQL expertise (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• English C1 – professional proficiency in English at the C1 level (CEFR)
